The above puppy being purchased has been vet checked, is up to date on all vaccinations and deworming and is guaranteed to be in sound health at the time of purchase. It is guaranteed to be free of any life-threatening congenital conditions for up to one year from the date of birth.
The seller assumes no responsibility for the above described puppy after it enters into the buyer’s care. The seller is not responsible for issues caused by medical expenses, mortality, landlord disapproval, family disagreement, allergies to the puppy or any other issues not specifically stated in the contract.
The buyer agrees that the above puppy must be seen by the buyer’s vet within 3 (three) business days after leaving our care. If not, this guarantee is VOIDABLE. If the puppy dies within 72 (seventy-two) hours time, the buyer will pay to have the puppy autopsied by a veterinarian specializing in pathology to ascertain the reason of death.
We will replace the puppy if it is proven to have a life-threatening condition within one year after its birth with another puppy of equal value. NO CASH will be refunded under any circumstances. The returned puppy must be returned to us in good condition. All charges incurred by the purchaser are sole responsibility of the purchaser and will under no circumstances be paid by us.
If the puppy dies of heart failure (not related to heat stroke, injury or failure to seek treatment of a respiratory problem), cancer or kidney failure (not related to heat stroke or toxin poisoning), within one year of birth, the seller will replace the puppy with a puppy from the seller’s next available litter. The puppy must be returned to us dead or alive with all documents and death reports.
The seller reserves the right to see the puppy’s medical records and to have the puppy examined by a separate veterinarian before honoring this contract. Parvo is covered by this guarantee if it has been diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within 3 (three) business days after a puppy arrives at the buyer’s home. The new owner agrees to keep the puppy away from other dogs until it gets 3 (three) sets of vaccinations. All shots and deworming must be kept up to date and documented by a licensed veterinarian. If the puppy tests positive for heartworms at any point, this entire guarantee is VOIDABLE by us. The buyer must keep and be able to provide all vet records to show adherence to this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover health issues that are caused by environmental factors, such as allergies, demodectic mange, coccidia, giardia or injuries caused by mishandling or neglect.
This guarantee does not cover health issues that are associated with this breed: stenotic nares, entropion, elongated soft palate, cherry eye, allergies, hot spots, patellar lunation (Grades 1-4), hernias, prolapsed rectum or vagina, loose hips and/or joints. If the puppy dies due to malnutrition or a drop in blood sugar, which is conformed by the vet, NO exchange or refund will be given. Any condition found to be the fault of improper care or diet is not covered under this guarantee.
We do not guarantee size, color or personality. The reproductive abilities of the dog are not guaranteed regardless of whether or not breeding rights were purchased. This guarantee does not cover any costs for spaying/neutering or any elective procedures. Replacement of a dog that dies during surgery, as a result of surgery or during post-surgery care, is not covered. This guarantee is not transferable if the dog is given to a third party.
The buyer fully agrees to the terms and conditions and terms of this contract. All the above term and conditions must be met, or all guarantees, written and verbal, will be voidable. The buyer agrees that based on the terms of this contract, no lawsuit or bad advertisement will take place against Birch Bay Ranch Frenchies at any time.
We do everything possible to raise healthy, happy and well-socialized puppies! If you follow breed care instructions, train and socialize your puppy from Day 1, you will have a healthy and happy dog that will thrive with your family. It is the responsibility of the buyer to take the dog to regular vet checks, provide shelter, food and water as well as vaccines and deworming. With proper care, we know that you and your dog will spend many years together!
